Re: Need a spare door key?
I may have posted this before. A few years ago I found a couple of these Mobella keys with our specific number at Marine Connection Liquidators, Route 1, Ft. Pierce, FL 772-465-6460. They brought out a bucket full!! and set it on the counter and I had to look through to find our number. This pace is...

Re: Got a CPAP Aboard?
Either would work, depending on which end of the bunk is your pillow/head. I put it on the inboard end of the seat and the standard 4' hose works for inboard pillow, would use the shelf for outboard pillow.

Re: Transom shower..
I just had the same problem with my transom shower; one part had the plastic cup inside disintegrate. I also found that Scandvik now makes the valve and the shower fittings with stainless steel covers instead of the white rubber cover which never stayed on. I replaced both. The recessed shower sets ...

Re: Got a CPAP Aboard?
I have used a Phillips Respironics Dreamstation auto CPAP with water tank on my PDQ34 for 2 years, on the top step/seat on the way up to the starboard bunk. I found a 12 volt power cord for it online and plug it into the existing cigarette lighter plug at the top step. Use it every night, low power,...

Re: Oil type for the 100 hp engines
I bought 2004 PDQ 34 #41 with 75 hp Yanmar 4JH3TE engines 8 years ago and until this year have been using only synthetic Mobile 1 Turbodiesel Truck 5W40 oil and changing at 250 hours. I have frequently been adding 2 cups of oil to each engine at my morning check every day after running at 3400 rpm f...

Re: Phantom Screens
The aft screen on our 2004 PDQ 34 #41 had a problem that it was sometimes tilting sideways a little and jamming while opening or closing. I called Phantom Screens and got American Screen Solutions in Boynton Beach, FL. I said it looked like the plastic ends on the slider bar were worn so that the ba...

Re: Rust in condensation pan
I am in need of a replacement pan, at least on my forward Cruisair A/C, (if it is still salvagable!).

Opening forward hatch all the way for more air
We have taken Abbotsford III North this summer to avoid the Annapolis summer heat, but it was hot this year even on Erie Canal, St. Lawrence and Champlain. We are now on the way home and planning improvements for this fall before heading South to the Keys. The struts on the forward middle window/por...
