Jerry,
Please give me a call. I live 90 miles north of Miami. Happen to have a 2000 Capella with NEW 15 Honda outboards. Excellent condition. Would love to show it to you.

2000 Capella for Sale

The time has come to sell ATTITUDE.
She is loaded with stuff. But what make this Capella standout from the others are the Honda 15's with electric tilt with less than 20 hrs. on them.
Located in Stuart, FL

Re: Honda 15

Greetings to All: When I added Honda 15's to ATTITUDE, I initially had them mounted to high. This resulted in ventilation* (often confused with cavitation) whenever I was waked. The solution was to mount the motors closer to the water. Since then, no problem. This past summer ATTITUDE journeyed from...

Re: Honda 15

If my memory serves me (which is questionable) the Honda 15's weigh 110 lbs. each. I have not found the engine weight + the weight of my brackets and extended arch to be detrimental in any way. Sorry I didn't go with bigger outboards. ATTITUDE is planning on a Florida - Bermuda - Bahama - Florida tr...

Re: Honda 15

Tom: Several years back, there was extensive posts on the Honda 15 replacing the Yamaha 9.9. I ended up having customs brackets made and mounted Honda 15's on them. I then enclosed the Yamaha engine compartments. Also had to modify the "deflector" that is just in front of the motors. Also ...

Re: BERMUDA

Ray & Paula: Thanks for the suggestion. Originally, I was unable to locate charts for the Atlantic. Hence, my post. After searching further and with the help of Blue Water Books and Charts I have obtained charts. Bought U.S. Chart 108 entitled NORTH ATLANTIC OCEAN - SOUTHEAST COAST OF NORTH AMER...

Refrigerator Door Latch Replacement?

The spring in the latch that keeps the refrig door closed is mighty tired. Wondering if anyone knows how to remove? Replacement source?

Stay safe,

Re: Adequate Water Heater Capacity?

Mike: Having lived with a wife and three daughters and being last on the list for a shower I found that there was no such thing as having enough hot water. However, now with just a wife onboard, the Excel ventless model supplies plenty of hot water. The manufacturer states: "It delivers over 96...

Re: Lightning Strikes

Dear Thin Water:

I think the operative words in the suggestion posted by Root on April 29th

"... at the electronic repair shops recommendation, we disconnect the radio antenna when not need and during thunderstorms."

are - "when not need" (ed. should be not needed).
