Re: Ground tackle?

Re: Holding tank questions

Agree with stinky source ... also unless you flush regularly, some of that water sits in the intake hose and ripens in there between through hull and the head - once it's flushed through - I noticed it gets better (or as clean as the source)!

Re: Holding tank questions

Last year I replaced everything - head; hoses, clamps etc .. nasty job but made a huge difference - dare I say - it almost smells nice now! Also went ahead and used those white "Odor Safe hose" just a little bit extra (about $9/foot) but seems to work well. Occasionally flush some of that ...

Re: Jiffy Reefing questions

I did it myself while the cover was on the boom - one of those - "ooops forgot about those reefing lines" anyway - use one of those copper grommet kits - hammered it through and seems to be holding fine - not a lot of stress in that spot - more of a pass through.

Re: Jiffy Reefing questions

They are just tied around the boom with a bowline - the knot is on the inside of the sail cover - have a hole/grommet on either side of the stackpack sail cover to pass the line through as well as in the foot of the sail (the mainsail grommet was already there). Looks clean and so far so good.

Hi Tom, I have a 32 (not loose footed) and put on a "stack pack" cover ... My reefing lines up front run from grommets on the sail through the front boom ... but the ones in the back tie to gromments on the sail and end up tied around the boom. I ended up putting holes via gommets in the s...

We've had our boat (before PDQ) and gang plank marina right up the Washington Channel - pretty decent and pretty close to everything and safe. They've recently updated their faciliaties too. I've also seen transient folks also anchor in the channel instead of tying up very well protected in about 20...

Owner's Manual

Anyone have a softcopy of the 32 Owner's Manual? Seems like a lot of this info resides in this doc (for various iterations). I know Sam Densler has one on his site for the 36 ... mine is a bit tattered and missing pages - so would be great to reproduce it.
