Re: New owner with so many questions
I know I am lat to the conversation here, but I'd like to throw my hat in the no auto-magic tilt for the engines. I've had a few costly issues with them myself. The attachment point does drag when the engines are up. Also, the bottom 1.5" of the engine are also in the water at all times :-( But...

Re: Sym-Spin Setup
Symmetrical spinnaker only...
I'm guessing that because the guy is led through a block on the bow, and then led aft to a winch or cleat, I would need to douse it when gybing...?

Sym-Spin Setup
After a day of light wind sailing, I attempted to set up my spinnaker for the first time. It was met with varying levels of success as I have never worked with a sym spin before. (Some work with asym-spins on F-18 and other racing cats using a snuffer poles...) Does anyone have photos of their setup...

Re: Galley Mods
Interesting mod. I don't have that drawer in my boat. I didn't realize the boats were all that different. Thanks for the reply by the way.

Galley Mods
Has there been a thread I missed on different galley mods and ideas? I came across a few while browsing the web, but very few for the PDQ32 specifically.
What are some of the better improvements that y'all have tried and tested that make better use of space?

Hammock Locations
Over the past three years of travelling/hosteling, I have fallen in love with hammocks. Are there any specific location where slinging up a hammock is preferred on the 32? I've seen photos of mast-forestay, between the davits, end of boom-shroud, etc setups on other boats, but I was wondering if any...

Re: Stowing a mast for Trucking
That helps quite a bit. I appreciate the input, and with this being my first time dealing with this still (trucking a boat this bog, unstepping a mast this big, deriggin/rerigging etc) the differences from my racing cat days are many.

Re: Stowing a mast for Trucking
Mr. Power,
When stowing it between the hulls for transit, should the mast be fully derigged... Spreaders, halyards, everythingl?

Stowing a mast for Trucking
Does anyone have any experience on trucking a sailing PDQ. Specifically where to store the mast for transit. I was told somewhere else that I should just "strap it down on the port hull" but that makes me queazy just thinking about it. Does anyone have experience with this, or some similar...

Re: Head/Holding Help!!
I didn't see anything blocking the vent. The smell is gone and I finished cleaning up the bilge area. Although there was no toilet-fun-stuffs there, it had a film over it that can only be described as that which you would see on the inside of a toilet bowl after many months of not cleaning it. I thi...

Head/Holding Help!!
All, I just purchased a PDQ32 and after using the head, the entire boat smell like raw sewage... I looked through the manual, but I am at a loss right now. Does anyone have any tips/thoughts as to where to (continue) my search? I checked the starboard hull at the tank and there is no smell in there ...
