Bomar hatch covers
We have 2 small and 2 larger Bomar hatch covers that we never used on our PDQ 32. Could anyone use them before we throw them out? Please get back to us by mid Sept as we will be leaving for FL for the winter.

Re: Oil Change Pump Recommendations
Pumping the oil out isn't bad with a vacuum pump. Larry installed a male hose adapter on the engine and the hose to the pump screws on that and on the other end of the pump so he doesn't have to empty it each time. We keep it in a dish pan with an oil absorbent pad and store it up front in the shall...

Re: Changing A/C drip pans
Another solution Larry came up with was to install a small diameter hose from the air conditioning unit to a hole he drilled thru the bottom of the salon seat floor so it could constantly drain right into the ocean. He did this on the system between the cabins when the Venturi got clogged and our be...

Re: Securing a Dingy to the Hull
We tie the back of the dinghy to far side of the bottom of the grab rail of the back steps and another or continued tie to the mid spot on the dinghy from the hand rail on the other side of the steps. That line stays tied to the dinghy for easy access.

We are sooooo happy with our 4 bladed props. The boat runs faster, quieter and with less vibration.

Re: Davits
Hi there. We have had the davits replaced. If you take the back wall covering down from the top and ceiling down in each cabin, you should be able to find the backing plates, if they are there.

Well, we just saw some of the Sunbrella fabric patterns. They have come a long way and you might want to check your options at the Sunbrella website.

Re: Upholstery: PDQ 36 Interior Cushions and Settee
Our cushions came with a strip of velcro sewen along the top and bottom, almost the whole length. The velcro on the boat has the sticky backing. The seat cushions have the same method with the velcro sewen into the back along the zipper and the bottom where it meets the wood to access the storage un...
