Re: Pier for a PDQ MV34
I have a custom lift for the PDQ MV34 that I previously owned. Together with remote control and a custom boarding platform and steps, it made for very easy docking and boarding out of the waves. I have since sold my boat and would be happy to discuss selling the lift to anyone who might be intereste...

Charter Wanted
After 4 years and 1000 hours (mostly on the Chesapeake and the ICW to and from the Florida Keys), I sold my PDQ MV34 (hull # 96). I would love to charter a PDQ for a week this May or June in Florida. Please let me know if you are interested in chartering your boat. My phone # is 202 329 4750. Thanks...

Re: Boat lift for Powercat 34
I own Hull # 96. It lives on a custom lift at my home in Oxford, MD. Rather than a "sling", a great local contractor built a custom aluminum lift that supports the boat under both hulls AND under area between the hulls. Carpeted bunks on each side of the lift structure automatically guide ...

Fabulous Delivery Team!
This Spring I ran out of time to complete my annual trip from the Florida Keys to my homeport of Oxford, MD. I recalled an old PDQ Forum posting and called Anise and Tom Walker. They are PDQ owners and Tom is a Coast Guard Master Captain. They dropped everything in their life, flew to Moorhead City,...

Hard Top?
Has anyone put a hardtop on the flybridge of an MV 34? Are there weight issues? Thanks.

Re: Water pressure and the water filter
I had constant water pressure problems. Then I took my filter cartridge out 2 years ago, turned the valve to bypass the filter and have put 600 hours on the boat with no problems.

Re: Rough Water Photo
Thanks for those stories. I was asking because I am putting together a photo book of my just concluded 11 day trip from Islamorada in the Keys to Oxford, Maryland. Most of the trip was smooth. But, the first 4 hours on the Chesapeake were very rough (consistent 4 ft with periodic 6 ft swells). But t...

Re: Closing In Flybridge on MV 34
Thanks Duetto. I have done almost all of my driving (I am about to complete my 2nd round trip between my home on the Chesapeake Bay and the Florida Keys) from up top. The experience of operating from inside just seems very different and less pleasant. Maybe I just need to do it more. But I was think...

Closing In Flybridge on MV 34
I am considering closing in the flybridge on my MV 34 with eisenglass or polycarbonate to make it more comfortable to run from up top on late Fall trips down the ICW. I would love to hear from any owners who have closed-in their flybridge with tips on what worked and what ,if any, problems you encou...

Good luck Salwa to you and to everyone else at PDQ. I just took my MV34 down the ICW from the Chesapeake to the Florida Keys and it performed flawlessly!
