Hi James, what type of grease do you recommend to lubricate the rollers?

Re: Nova Kool Refrigerator

Teamwork did most of the "fixes " with minimal results. Installed 1" closed cell styrofoam with foil face, glued in with Flex Glue, great stuff. Foil face to inside of the box the fridge slides into. Fan installed forward left side, blowing down, bringing air from microwave area and across Fridge It...

Re: Nova Kool Refrigerator

I have a 2 year old Novakool that didn't work much better than the original one. I have increased the power wire to 10 gauge. In doing so, found that the connector is not correct as it needs a ferrel instead of just tightened down on a few strands of wire. The factory wires weren't tinned, not marin...

Isotherm 200 install

Has anyone changed the Novakool fridge with the isotherm 200?
It is just a little larger physically, but sounds like a far better Fridge.

Re: 75 HP SYNTHETIC OIL SUGGESTIONS

I've been using Amsoil 15-40 full synthetic oil for years.
I'm very satisfied, and with testing you can go to 300 hrs.
Change oil filter every 100 hrs.

Going 300 hrs.lessens the cost of an oil change.

Inside the boat, has screws, which I think hold the window in. Want to remove it to get the powder coat repaired. Thanks

Re: New Owner Questions

Starboard stateroom leak was caused by sliding door assembly that wasn't caulked from factory. I caulked several times, but the torquing of the boat kept separating seal. Fix was to use Flex Seal tape on top of door assembly. Been dry for 3 years.😁

AC Grounding High Resistance

During a recent corrosion survey, it was discovered that there is 60 ohms of resistance between the AC grounding buses and the Main DC negative bus in my electrical panel. The ABYC electrician conducting the survey explained that these two buses should be electrically connected with less than one oh...

Re: New owner in Jacksonville need help

Teamwork installed a new water pump annually until I started filtering all water going into tank. Whole house charcoal filter from Lowe’s $34-40 . I haven’t changed a pump in 6 years. Still keep a spare, usually sell to someone that doesn’t filter their water. Welcome to the PDQ world, lots of help ...
