We're sitting on the keels, 4 supports under the bridgedeck, one under each bow and one under each stern (8 supports in total). I don't believe the keels are designed to carry alot of the weight. Again, all the best.....

Re: Staying onboard in dry dock
We're on board now, for the 8th year, as we get Windrush ready for the winter cruising season. Usually for one or two weeks both at the start and finish of the cruise. There are several PDQs here at Westland in Titusville, all stay aboard on the hard while boat chores are completed. Good luck and al...

Re: Bottom paint
When we do 2 coats, the first coat uses just over 1 gal, and if we're really stingy we can get a second coat with the remainder of the second gal. Our hulls are pretty smooth, without much build-up, so that helps too. Good luck and all the best.....

Re: PDQ 36 mainsail dacron weight?
Windrush (36074) had a full baton, 2 reef, 8.62 high aspect Dacron made by Mack Sails back in the fall of 2012. We love it and can recommend Mack Sails. We also got their Mack pack cover and their service was very good. We had them replace a zipper in the mack Pack last spring. Good luck and all the...

Re: Replacement Engine(s)
Hi Tom. We purchased our last two engines from Pass-A-Grille Marina (Tray Thomason Pass-A-Grille Marina 727-360-0100, 1901 Pass-A-Grille Way, St. Pete Beach, Fl. 33706) when both Boats.net and the Stuart guy were out of stock. They're on the west coast which is a pain but might be worth a price chec...

Re: Depth gauge
Hi Jim, hope alls well aboard Ocean Dreamer! I also had issues with an old Raytheon display going so dark it became almost unreadable and found a relatively simple fix, although it was not cheap. On Ebay there is a seller called desertdiver1 that sells just the LCD screen and it worked well for me. ...

Re: Pictures just aren't the same
Hi Lamar. I'm not sure if Titusville is close enough to you but you'll find several 36's at Westland Marina. We're in the Berries right now, waiting to cross early this week to Lake Worth and then move Windrush up to Titusville to be hauled for the summer. PM me if you'd like to meet. All the best.....

Hi Jim & Cathy. We're on our way down to Titusville after Can. Thanksgiving and hope to be across the stream by the end of Oct. We'll be heading down towards the Exumas/Ragged Islands but we're looking forward to meeting up in the new year. Stay in touch and all the best.....
