Re: Replacement solar panels
Hi Jim, Thanks for your reply. It sounds like you have come up with a good solution for your boat. I also found a 2018 discussion on this subject at www.pdqforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=3439. I've attached a photo of my original setup. As thinwater said in his 2018 posting, the mounting is very...

Replacement solar panels
Hello All,
Does anyone know a source for replacing the stock solar panels on a PDQ 32. My 2003 PDQ has two panels measuring 47-1/4 x 20-1/2 inches but I have been unable to find any panels with those dimensions.
Much thanks for any help, Ron

Re: Charging from Portable Generator
How does one "switch to LEDs"? Has anyone found LED lights that are a good replacement (size compatible) for the PDQ 32 fluorescents and incandescents?

Re: Holding tank Monitor
Appears Electrosense is out of business as www.electrosense.com returns 404.
How did the monitor attach to the holding tank? Did it use the SAE J1810 5-hole mounting pattern (see https://www.maretron.com/support/knowle ... retron.pdf)?

Re: Breaker placement for starboard windlass
Thanks Drew. I ended up mounting the breaker just inside the starboard cabin door, between the door and the electrical cabinet. The back of breaker is in the electrical cabinet where it's easy to connect and close to the batteries. Another question: Was there any reinforcement of the deck in the are...

Breaker placement for starboard windlass
I'm trying to add a Lewmar V700 windlass to Varekai (3251). The chain locker is in the starboard bow so that's where the windlass is going. I've run the wires from the starboard bow locker behind the medicine chest, below the starboard setee, below the electric panel, under the starboard stairs and ...
