Bruce, you are a gracious man! Heh...
My wife confirmed, immediately, that we should come visit your boat...alas, logic and the checkbook countered with a good argument!

Re: Hurricane ate my Dragonfly tri. PDQ sounds fantastic. Wisdom needed

Hey folks.... I'm still in the hunt for a PDQ owner within 4-6 hour drive of Savannah that would let us visit their boat! We have a couple of boats for sale (32s with outboards) on the radar...but we've never set foot on a PDQ. So doing so would be helpful prior to starting the purchase process, to ...

Hosting a tour of your boat? Hopeful 32 owner asking..

Hello folks. As I've mentioned previously, my wife and I hope to be PDQ 32 owners in the next 6 mos (or sooner). On paper, the boat meets the majority of our needs but of course, no substitute for a visit to the real thing! We are in Savannah, GA. So if anyone has a boat (on the hard or in the water...

Re: 1997 PDQ 32 Altair LRC

Ahh. I thought Altair and LRC were models, not only designations. Thanks for clarifying.
At this stage we are focused on outboards.

Thanks Barbara.
Good to know your boat is available. We are focused on the Altair for now but certainly will keep your boat in mind. Have a great week!

Re: 1997 PDQ 32 Altair LRC

Thank you both for the offer to provide input. Truly helpful and gives me assurance that this community of owners is alive and well! I've contact Mr. Love and am waiting on some photos. He posted previously here that he replaced the mast. Is this typical as a correction to poor design or perhaps a r...

Re: 1997 PDQ 32 Altair LRC

Thanks for the offer Sam! Based on budget (always the constraint, eh?) we've determined that a 32 is the right size. Given haul out, marina fees, etc. So I'm just in the early stages of the hunt. I've not inquired on Knotty Cat yet but that boat might be on the list. We are in Savannah and I'm guess...

Re: 1997 PDQ 32 Altair LRC

Thanks Sam. I've watched pdq36.com for a few weeks now. We lost our Dragonfly trimaran in Matthew and are now considering pdq 32's a a solid next boat for the family.

Re: Hurricane ate my Dragonfly tri. PDQ sounds fantastic. Wisdom needed

So well stated Thinwater. Thank you. As of this morning, a PDQ 32 with outboards is first on the list.... While comforting to hear of others that have been down similar paths of considering performance and comfort, its hard to let go of the desire for efficiency and some speed. But perhaps it's just...

Hurricane ate my Dragonfly tri. PDQ sounds fantastic. Wisdom needed

Hello folks. First, I've been reading many posts over the last few years and I'm so impressed (and captivated) by the participation and honesty found in your community of owners. And I'm here because that's part of my equation in buying another boat. Hurricane Matthew flipped my Dragonfly SW800 (26'...
