Rainman Watermaker
I have a brand new never used Rainman portable watermaker for sale. It runs off the boat generator or a Honda 2000 and has the high output membrane capable of producing up 37 gl per hour... It comes with everything including spare filters pickeling solution etc.. I believe the two year warranty tran...

I am also posting this in the classified section but also wanted to let other 34 owners know because I think it’s a perfect fit for our boats. Re: Bahamas crossing
Ok here is my update for the day and it’s not good news unfortunately. Pulled the pickup tube out today and it was perfectly clean with no obstructions whatsoever.. Being the boat does not smoke at all and otherwise runs perfectly I had pretty much ruled out the turbo as everyone including the mecha...

Re: Bahamas crossing
Tim, If you have Kobelts then they definitely pull out to give neutral. I’ve been on lots of boats with them and they all work the same way. Much better to warm the boat up wit a small amount of throttle. Each lever pulls out separately try pulling out more from the base of the shifter and move it f...

Re: Bahamas crossing
Not sure about others but I have Kobelt controls.
All you do is pull the shift lever out sideways this keeps it in neutral
Then throttle up.. I always start the boat in neutral then do as above to ad rpms. Maybe other boats are different ??

Re: Bahamas crossing
Thanks for the responses.. As far as the prop goes the bottom and props were just cleaned within the last two weeks. I suppose it’s possible I wrapped something around the prop when I left Miami. I had no idea they should make 4300 in neutral that is disturbing.. The most I ever achieved on the port...

Bahamas crossing
I know some of you have made the Bahamas crossing many times in your PDQs but this will be my first trip. I have done the crossing my self many times but never in this boat. I’ve even gone in small center console boats. At the moment I’m am stuck in Stuart with a port engine that will only make 2800...

Re: Gas Oven Installation on our PDQ 34'
I have been wanting to do this switch for a long time now.
The admiral absolutely refuses to use a microwave under any circumstance.. ( bit of hippie)
In fact I removed it from the boat and a toaster oven sits in its place.
Would you mind sharing some photos of your oven ??
Thanks
Bill

Re: Port Tachometer and hour meter not working.
Port Tach update.... So I was finally able to get in there and disconnect the sensor. Both female ends are corroded so I sprayed a little WD 40 Reconnected them and port tach is back up and running.. For now. I’m sure this problem will reoccur sometime soon and will definitely need to remove some th...

Re: Port Tachometer and hour meter not working.
Thanks for the replies, I’m really struggling with this. I know what I’m supposed to be looking for back there but my hands don’t even fit by the flywheel to check the connections. Seems like taking the turbo off would make it easier? I suppose it’s not the end of the world if I can’t get it running...

Port Tachometer and hour meter not working.
This weekend while using the boat my tach stopped reading. I also checked and the hours meter not moving either. Starboard side is fine. Has anyone else had a problem like this? I searched the forums but only see flybridge tach problems but mine are not working at either station. Is the tach sensor ...

Re: Fresh Water water flow PDQ 34
So did every PDQ come with a fresh water filter? I can’t find one anywhere on my 05. Nothing at all under the fridge. I had the same problem with water flow and it ended up being the valve before the pump had clogged with calcium. Took it off cleared it out and was good to go. Where these filters ad...
