Was not sure if the the “full” raw water strain container has anything to do with this issue. But my starboard engine strainer is not “full”. Thanks, you are correct. I removed the pump and went to the marine supply. Myself, the counterman and one very knowledgeable fellow customer solved the mystery. It seems they protect the pump if the breaker is thrown before opening the valves.

My fuel transfer pump stopped working. I removed it and tested it. The odd looking fittings on each outlet stumped me. The wiring goes to these fittings. One seems to have gone bad.
