Just to finish out this thread, the cable to the starboard side was 9 ft and the port side 12 ft. My second replacement in 9 years.

thanks for the response and info. I ordered a whale faucet (WHA-tb4112) from jmsonline, since seeing it recommended on an earlier post.
I let all know how that turns out.

I need to replace my galley faucet on the 32. The PDQ 36 may have a similar arrangement. The two supply nipples to the faucet go out the back through the wall, and do not make a 90 degree turn and go through the counter. Looking at old posts, it appears both Scanvik and whale make replacements, but ...

where is the fuse, and what size? good to have one as a spare. We're all dummies from time to time.

as follow- up, the battens slid readily into the cars when I had a helper. Simply a two-man job. Sail shape was improved considerably.

I recently had my main repaired as needed, after an inspection by a sail loft indicated still in pretty good shape. I decided to replace the battens with stiffer ones. I have the same - spinlock XA. Recently broke one and replaced all 8 as they are 20 years old, and brittle. Cost was about $15 each.
