Replacement rudder for the 32
Anyone have or know of rudder moulds? Or have drawings to replace a rudder? Would rather prefabricate most of it so I don't take up costly lay days making it out of the water. In the off chance someone has a spare, I'll buy it! Thanks!

Re: Genoa and Assymetrical only speeds and handling
I agree, that L440 is way heavier, wider etc.
In that scenario, with no 3 reefed main, that is the nice thing about the self tacking jib. Unfurl it some, set it and forget it and go unlock that chute shackle and sock it up quickly.

Re: Genoa and Assymetrical only speeds and handling
Thanks Thinwater. Back to chutes, and in higher winds. I think Sailing Impi here hasn't figured out. They have a heavy duty assym for heavier air and also a lighter one. The key is they use it on a bridle setup (much like yours) and attached by a Tylaska T12 snapshackle. Makes a lot of sense to me. ...

Re: Genoa and Assymetrical only speeds and handling
Thank you both very much! My buddy has the shorter rig with stock main and self tacker. Like a lot of people going to catamarans it's partly due to health problems. Thus, looking for easier handling, smaller loads and lines and climbing on deck, etc. So we were talking about solutions to still get d...

Genoa and Assymetrical only speeds and handling
How often do you sail with just your genoa (no main) and what kind of speeds are you seeing, and in what wind speeds and direction? Also, how are tacks and gybes with the 150%? Same info flying your assym is also appreciated. There was a 32 I saw for sale, a pretty old ad on 2hulls, that had a 180%!...

Anyone have their old soft bimini frame and also maybe the canvas from when you upgraded to a hardtop? Thanks.

Re: Height dimensions of the hardtop
Thanks thinwater. That all makes sense. Anybody out there who could take a tape measure to their hardtop to their deck, please? I posted looking for any N. California 32 owners but there appears to be none so I can't go measure it myself. I also asked the stainless manu in Montreal but they never go...

Height dimensions of the hardtop
Hi All, I was hoping someone could do me a favor, please? What are the height dimensions of your hardtop, measuring the from the deck to where the stainless fitting connects to the h/t, from the aft cabin decks and the height off the slider? Also, how many inches between the top of the hardtop to th...

Re: PDQ32+
Thanks for sharing! You sound pretty happy with yours. Good to hear both of you believe 3' would be okay. Oh and yes, I think the keel mod would be first on the list since it is not as big of a job as the transom extensions plus the windward improvements sound great. Honestly, it does look to be a p...
