Re: Adding Davits

John, Thank you for the info. We are planing on having the davits extended (about 10") so we would be able to secure them to the bottom back rail of the aft bench. We are a little concerned that St. Croix does not use a stabilizer bar but they assure me that it is not an issue if the dinghy is secur...

Adding Davits

Our 2005 didn’t have davits when we purchased it. We are in the process of exploring our options - we are leaning towards either the Kato Island model or the St Croix rotating davits. We are planning for a West Marine 10’ dinghy and a Mercury 9.9 hp. Any thoughts, suggestions or recommendations woul...

We will be attending the PDQ Owners Rendezvous in Stuart on the 19th. Looking forward to meeting other owners and learning as much as we can. Was wondering if any of y’all attending have done the Great Loop on your PDQ - would love to hear about your experiences on the Loop! Also wondering if anyone...

Re: Jacksonville FL recommendations

Thanks for the recommendations! I had forgotten about the canvas place next to Sandler’s - we used her a few years ago for our Boston Whaler and she did a great job. The aft Bimini is on the wish list not the gotta do list so hopefully it won’t be too expensive . Would be great to hook up at some po...

Jacksonville FL recommendations

We are in the process of looking for people to compound and buff, repair fiberglass, remove and replace pin striping and all the other decals - we already have the decals and stripes just need someone to do the labor. We would also like to add an aft bimini and are hoping there is someone in the Jac...

Re: Another newbie

I really appreciate having this owners forum and the great people that are willing to help... We need to replace the black rubber trim on almost all the windows - I saw that James said that it really is just for looks (ours look really bad) and to check Bomar to purchase. Has anyone purchased it and...

Another newbie

We just purchased a PDQ 34 Hull 57 - super excited but have a few questions! She doesn’t have davits or dinghy and was wondering if we can still buy the original davits that came from PDQ and if so from who? Also recommendation for grill and can we run a line from the onboard tanks? Thanks! Pam Out ...
