Re: Hull #12 Possible Fresh Water Leak???

We always had a problem if we overfilled the tank. I think the overflow can't handle the filling volumn.

Re: Sewing machines other than SailRite

We have a Sailrite, and have used it on everything from serious sail repair to new salon cushions. It's good, but not perfect... We were looking for any better options.

Sewing machines other than SailRite

Does anyone have a heavy duty sewing machine (other than SailRite) that they are pleased with? I'm looking for other options for general Sunbrella repair and emergency sail work.

Adler-Barber Cold machine Question

I'm sitting here in the AM, all is quiet except the "Cold Machine" running, shutting down, coming right back on, off, on, off, on, and finally off for a few minurtes. I replaced the thermostat last year, and defrosted the box 2 days ago. Does anyone else experience this ? Any fixes, sugges...

Re: Straightening a bent rudder post.

You can loosen the bolts and move the rudder down, Three suggestions, these bolts are prone to corrosion due to dissim...

Re: Looking for a PDQ 36

Congrats on the boat and welcome to a great family of owners. We spend most of September in the Bay (Bodkin Creek to be exact) getting the boat hauled and painted, before heading south. Feel free to contact us at Kokomo36@juno.com if you have any questions.

We are READY to go! We spent 52 days in the Ragged's last year - sorry we didn't cross paths. We are looking forward to spending even more time there in 2009. Hope to see you!

Re: Hot Water Heater

I saw Sam's question about the Excel - sorry for the long delay.... We did purchase the "standard" Excel model and it retro-fitted to the Wolters easily. It did experience some surface rust on the exterior after 6 months. It was difficult to control the temp. The water would be a little to...

Re: Holding tank questions

We installed the "SaniGard Holding Tank Vent Filter" and it eliminated the odor from the vent. It installes in-line in the vent hose - easy!!! NO MORE ODOR and we use the boat 365 days a year.
