Re: Northern Lights Generator
Just had mine checked and replaced on Mr. Busy. The elbow was close to failure. Replaced with the stainless option. While we were at it I had the exhaust elbows checked on both mains. One had a very small pinhole and the other was worn significantly. Replacement cost for the Yanmar elbows was 269.00...

Aft deck bimini
We are thinking of adding an aft deck bimini to Mr. Busy and trying to find and settle on a design. From the pictures of those that have done so, it appears that there are varied designs used on the PDQ 34s. What do you like about yours, what would you change if you were to do it again? Suggestions ...

Tme for a new dinghy
Well folks it is that time. We are ready to replace our old dinghy on Mr. Busy, an 8' Walker Bay with tubes. What are you guys using that fits well on the original 34 davits? Any recommendations for or against any of the current crop?

Re: Master stateroom
I have tried to find a comfortable solution. Did you get a standard queen? Looking at their website, the height is 11". How did the increased height work out?

Replacement Propane tanks
It is about time for us to replace our propane tanks. The locker is designed to fit the original canadian manufactures tank size and that tank is no longer available. Has anyone found a replacement that will fit? Advice on type/size and availability would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jimmy

Re: flybridge steps?
John,
Jimmy Bradley here in Pensacola. I have owned Mr Busy MV 05934 since new. She has the starboard steps and they do not have additional tubes, they span from side to side. I have had no issues with these.
Hope this helps,
Jimmy

Propane tanks
Hi all,
It is about time for me to replace or repair the propane tanks on my 34. Does anyone know if any of the newer fiberglass tanks will fit in the locker? Has anyone ran down the replacement part for the valve assembly innthe locker?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: MV 34 - 4 blade props
Hi Dick,
Good news to hear about your cruising and the performance of the four blade props. If you remember, we had extrteme "singing" issues with the four blades we tried six years ago. Has that been a significant issue on any of the recent props?

Powercat 34 boat lift
Hi, I had a custom lift built for my 34. Shortly after the lift arrived in Pensacola, I lost my lease on the site where it was to be erected. Since then I found a permanent slip location that is well protected and I never had the lift installed. The lift is designed to give full support to both hull...

Re: Sealant / adheasive used at galley sinks
The repair went pretty easy once we removed the cabinet front. I did add 4 ss screws on each sink as an extra precation.
