Re: MV 34 - 4 blade props

frank,

thanks for the info. couple of fup questions: 1) assume 17knots @ 1750 rpms is a typo. 2) what are "skewed" props? 3) what is max rpm that you can reach with 17x13 ?

replacing steering cylinders

hi all, as some of you may have read, we needed to replace both hydraulic steering cylinders. these are located in the extreme aft end of each hull and are attached to the steering arms on the rudders. the telltale signs of a problem are loss of fluid at the upper helm and the rudders constantly get...

Re: bleeding the steering?

hi,

our gen 1 davits failed. we replaced with ones from st croix. the originals thread into aluminium plates in hull. st croix wanted to thru bolt and backing plate, but i wanted to reuse the original plates. it has worked well.

Re: Prosine off or on?

hi ross, we had and went thru 2 prosines. they had many problems with early models (pre 2005 i think). they had a complete circuit board redesign at that point, but i've lost touch with the results. ours was in that closet also. it's a straight forward replacement. after our second failure i switche...

Re: ENGINE ZINCS?
