Recoating the lower water pump chamber on Yamaha 9.9
The photo is of the lower water pump chamber before it was cleaned out. The next photo is after it is cleaned. Note there is some of he protective coating warn away and some pitting. Does any one know what is used by Yamaha or can you suggest something to coat this chamber to give the metal a little...

Water Pump Housing wanted
I am looking for a good used Water Pump Housing for my 1998 T9.9 This is the same housing as in my 2005 engin so I dont think the age is critical.
I am also looking for a replacment electric starter.
If some one has one that they dont need please let me know price .

Well thanks to the advice of fellow pdqers I now have another lower end as a spare. The lower end unit did not come off in the first whack. My Shrouds on Magic Time are 10 mm. The Rigg is the "Tall Rig" I was looking for Shroud covers that the ID would be a little larger than the OD of the wire size ( in my case 10 mm) I felt that if the cove could rotate as the battens slid across it, this should protect the sail from chafing...
