Any comments, pros/cons, on 2 stroke vs 4 stroke outboards when purchasing new? I'm debating because of the weight, and the fact that in the Bahamas anc Caribbean you don't see many 4 strokes yet. Would appreciate comments from those cruising the areas and with either type of motor.

Has anyone gone to the expense of having their new boat surveyed, either during production or shortly after? If not, why not? If so, what was the results? Thanks.

I'm very interested in this topic. Any other comments out there. We are looing at a 11'8" Nautica that comes with a 25 hp Yamaha. The factory says it will fit but after reading a post I'm a little concerened. Any comments appreciated. Kenny
