Re: Bahama's Bound
Hi Jim & Cathy. We're on our way down to Titusville after Can. Thanksgiving and hope to be across the stream by the end of Oct. We'll be heading down towards the Exumas/Ragged Islands but we're looking forward to meeting up in the new year. Stay in touch and all the best.....

Re: Is it a 32 or a 34?
The early PQDs were infact 34s, The hulls of later models were extended at the stern to improve getting on and off and officially became 36s. The rest of the boat is basically the same so the 36 manual should be what you require. All the best.

New mainsail advice
The time has come to replace our aging mainsail on Windrush (36074) and I'm looking for any guidance/wisdom from those of you that have already gone this route. We're looking into Triton sails, Calvert and Mack sails but any suggestions and insights on a sailmaker, material, etc. would be greatly ap...

Valentines Day party
Just thought folks might enjoy some pics from the Valentines Day party held each year on Hog Island (Bahamas) for the cruisers, hosted by Maxine and the settlement of Duncan Town on Ragged Island. This year there were 4 PDQ 36s and 1 PDQ 32 present among the approximately two dozen cruising boats. (...

Re: 9.9 won't hold RPM
Did you find a solution for yours yet Sam? I'm having exactly the same issue right now. Cleaned out the carb twice... worked for 2 days then the same problem reappeared. I'll replace the filter and try switching the pump off the other engine today as we're in Nassau waiting for the blow to move on. ...

Re: Replacement LED lights for the Salon
Sno' Dog is right, just unscrew the clear cover, remove the halogen and insert the LED replacement carefully. The LED replacement was a tight fit in our light so we removed the reflector, but you might not need to, depending on the fit. There is no need to remove the light fixture itself to do the r...

Re: Replacement LED lights for the Salon
We replaced lights in the salon, galley & nav area, and some reading lights in the bunk. Ours are from Marinebeam.com. The G4 LED with 6 LEDs "Novi" weren't quite bright enough in the salon so we used their 10 LED "X-beam" which is more than bright enough. For the reading lig...

Re: Reading Light Replacements
I'm also planning to replace all of the halogens with LEDs on Windrush, but I could use some real world advice... There are some cheap ones on eBay like "Item number: 320733931652 or 220840172652" but visiting the website "Marinebeam.com" seems to strongly suggest we need much mo...

Re: PDQ 2nd Annual Cookout at Sailboat Show
Many thanks for the great get together Eric and Bonnie. It was so good to meet some of the people we see on the forum. The sails have been safely delivered and we are now on Windrush in Hobe Sound and getting everything ready for throwing off the lines and heading for the Bahamas. Hope you sort out ...
