Engine Raw water intake strainer
So my 2005 has the raw water intake strainer mounted reverse and a section cut out on the forward section. Why? Re: fuel "burping"?
We use the clean way fuel filter and this eliminates the mess with the “burping “ problem.

Re: Air Conditioner Replacement
I cleaned and sprayed a rust inhibitor ( the type that turns the rust into a hardened metal) . That has held us for the last 5 years no problems.
I don’t think the 18 is enough during our Bahamas trips can’t see why you would go down?
If it is working clean and spray....wait till it goes.

We miss not having an oven to cook.....any suggestions as to a countertop type or are you just using the microwave.
If you installed a microwave / convection oven how did you handle the heat of the oven in the original installation spot?

Re: Anyone chnged the WHIMPY horn?
Changed my whimpy horn today with a Two trumpet, 125 db, 12 volt horn manufactured by Viking Horns. Mounting holes lined up great with original holes...easy hook up and sounds like a real TRUCK HORN.

Re: If possible, would you buy a new PDQ 34 or 41?
We always wanted the 41 but purchased the 34 as preparation into the Power Catamaran world.
We bought the PDQ because of the highest quality compared to other manufacturers.
The feedback during the manufacturing of newer models is evident!
We would be the first in line for a new model!

Re: Fuel Pick up tube problem
I agree with James, it sounds like it ran out of fuel. You should start by recalibrating the fuel gauge.Use the stick method and do full ,1/2 and 1/4.
Even with fuel in the tank boat trim could have all the fuel in the back of the tank.
