Re: How to Disable Top Lock?
This is how I mounted the power tilt engines. The same principal would apply to the manual tilt and retain the up / down engine lock. I will try to attach photos of what I have done on MIDORI, a shim on the transum. The engine is fully out of the water. I did not through bolt the motor mount, I want...

Lexan window bedding
With the passing of the tropical storm Debby, we have identified our forward lexan pieces (3 ) need to be rebedded. I have read the treads on the forum and see two options. 1. BUTYL tape - this looks like a clean and simple method, but I question the adhesion. 1/8 inch X 2 inch X 30 foot rolls are c...

Re: PDQ 32 LRC
MIDORI is the 32 Classic, with twin 9.9 Yamaha. In the last 5 years we have cruised the winters, once to Abbacos and three trips to the Exumas. The other year we spent in the keys. We chose the outboards because we had no experience with deisels. With a Honda 2000 for running our 85 amp charger, we ...

Re: How to remove quad spin lock
Broken levers can be replaced without removing the spinlock from the deck. In the case of my 32, I did have to remove the furller spinlock in order to tap out the pin in the spinlock. Removal of the spinlock requires droping the stateroom cieling pannel. The pin was stuck, I used a C clamp to hold t...

Have you had any luck getting the cover only? Could an after market cover be molded?

How to remove quad spin lock
I have broken a lever on the quad spin lock. Does anyone have suggestions on how to get the spin lock off the deck without taking a piece of deck off?

Prop Pitch
The newer 9.9 comes with an 11 3/4 X 7 prop. That is a 7 inch pitch.
I no longer have my old props 1998 PDQ 32, I believe they had a 11 3/4 X 12 1/4 , thats a 12 3/4 inch pitch.
Would the owners of both the 32 nd 36 provide feedback on thier props please.
Thanks
