hi all,
we were in spanish wells, bahamas last week and we passed a cat that appeared to be a pdq 36 but had daggerboards sticking up thru the side decks. was i seeing things?

we too switched to pss. they are dry as a bone except when seas get very rough, then we get leaks.
my goal is to eliminate that.

hi,
most typically it comes from the fuel expanding during the heat of the day. if vent doesn't have a "pump overboard preventer" the fuel will escape thru the vent. don't fill quite as full next season.

roger, there was extensive discussion of this a few post ago. scroll thru powercat forum. i think the answer is scanvik. if so read the posts, they leak even after rebuilding. with that said they are in vero beach so might be worth the drive. as an all is lost move, try pb blaster. good luck, ps. jo...

hi, ours started leaking so i bought 2 from scanvik on closeout. i replaced original and within 2 weeks it started to leak. installed the other new one and it leaked right from the get go. i've had valves apart and can't see why they leak. switched to a whale long spout. just had to slightly elongat...

hi all, we need to replace at least 2 motor mounts. a couple of questions: 1) 1st are the front and rears the same? the parts manual doesn't directly specify. 2) the parts manual lists 2 options - 1 is described as "200" and the other "flex". any idea which is appropriate? i know...

we have hull 23. you really need long & short legs for the table. long for eating & short for sleeping. the cushion is just a mirror of side cushions cut to length. if need be i can photo ours.

can't help on this specifically but i'd try calling lewmar in guilford, ct. i've used their tech support on a windlass replacement and they were very good. give them a try.

assuming that you have wet cell lead acid batteries, doing a reset will get you to the default settings which is probably safe. if you don't want the defaults, post the values you're concerned with (eg. max amps, bulk charge volts, battery capacity), i'll get you some numbers when i get back to the ...

FWIW, we have aluminum tanks. i think they are still available or how about the new "see thru" fiberglass tanks?
