Re: Dynamat

I'm interested as well. My boat has marks as if something was glued on at one time but nothing there now.

Re: Wierd corrosion on 9.9 leg.

You might consider looking at the other engine too. Maybe cycle a vinager/water mix for a while to clear the buildups. The extra heat will kill those engines.

Re: Solar panels on hard top PDQ 32

My entire extended top is covered in solar panels. When putting the sail away I pull the boom out to the side and stand on the side deck. Standing on the Bimini makes me nervous; time for a diet?

Re: Wierd corrosion on 9.9 leg.

We had one with corrosion similar to that but didn't catch it until a big chunk of metal was completely missing. Exhaust noise was our first clue. My advice is to start setting money aside for a new engine. You might be able to milk out a few more months but the days are probably numbered. Before th...

Re: Cabin aft bulkhead

The idea originated with wanting a shelf to put phones and tablets on to watch a bedtime movie. Then when I looked into what was behind there I started liking the idea of never having to climb through the lazarette again. I may be getting too old for that. Of course this is just another idea to add ...

Cabin aft bulkhead

We have one of the older style 32's; one change I noticed is it appears the newer models have a removable aft bulkhead giving access to the steering compartments. I've considered adding removable book shelves (okay really a phone/tablet charging station with a spot to put the beer down). That would ...

Re: Yamaha 9.9 2012--choke linkage

Good to hear. I've had issues in the past but since you hooked me up with that vent filter they slowed down. Haven't pulled a carb in at least a year now.

Re: Emergency Tiller

I would go with the three inch, getting it lined up will be a bear and having the extra slack will help. Yes I would definitely do both sides. The one time we used it our starboard rudder (with the primary quadrant) was jammed (throughly the hull) so we pulled the cross bar and steered with only the...

I have one for a 32 that I could get the dimensions off of to duplicate.
Are they the same?

Hull #3? Is that one of the "third cabin" boats. The starboard bow was made into a sort of cabin for the non-claustrophobic.
