Dick
Thank you for this information. We would be interesting to changing to the 4 blade props.
We had aqua drives installed after we purchased our boat here in Seattle. I can tell you that made a major difference in noise and vibration also.
Thanks again and Happy Thanksgiving.

Re: ?How Many?
Hi ED Yes we did get your feed back regarding the generator install on our boat. It is in and working fine. Northern Lights is here in Seattle so it was no problem getting the equipment. We happen to know the engineer who designs their stuff. If you are ever out in the Seattle area, we would welcome...

Re: ?How Many?
Ron is correct I believe. We had purchased # 115. I was about to leave and go to Whitby to see the boat in progress when they called and said that they could not finish the boat and were ceasing operation. At the time, the hull and top and components were sitting on the shop floor. We waited for a t...

Re: Decals
When I took posession of my PDQ 34, we removed the striping for personal reasons having to do with color. This included the stripes on the cowling including the PDQ Yachts Logo. We replaced the striping without the logo. Last year when visiting Pierson Composites, I found that they had a new logo de...

Torquedo
I was considering a Torquedo electric outboard motor for my dinghy. Would appreciate thoughts or experience with this option.

Re: Seat Back Velcro
My wife who seems to know about these things says:
1. On the cushion side you need to sew the velcro to the fabric. That means taking the cushions out of the covers assuming they have a zipper.
2. On the vertical surface of the seat you use industrial strength velcro adhesive.

Re: Ceiling lights
Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, the fixtures that are in my boat are halogen and there are not LED bulbs that I can use in the fixtures. The Dr. LED replacement fixture is a bit too large in profile to fit in the space above the head liner and I would prefer not to have a surface mount alth...

Ceiling lights
Has anyone changed out their halogen ceiling lights for LED lights? I notice that some others have had the heat melt the plastic cover and had the diffusing lens fall out. That has happened to one of mine and I can see that others may not be far behind. I am considering converting them to LEDs which...

Fender Storage
I am considering putting some fender storage racks on my boat. I would be interested in what others have done in terms of type and where they have been located on the railing or elsewhere.

Re: Hydralic Steering - Cogwheeling
John I didn't get down to have a look at it this weekend. It is in a shop having a generator installed. We are planning a trip to Alaska and felt we needed this. Unfortunately, the place was secured for the weekend by the time I got down there. So I will have to check on these things later this week...

Hydralic Steering - Cogwheeling
I have some cogwheeling or some jerkiness to the steering on both the upper and lower helm stations. Can anyone tell me the cause of this and the solution? Do I just need to add hydralic fluid from the upper station? I don't see any apparent leaks in the system as I have inspected it.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Generator Installation
Thanks for the feedback. We are in the northwest and have no need for air conditioning. We have a diesel heater that consumes very little energy. We want the generator for extended cruising in the San Juan Islands and inside passage. We had not thought about the Honda but were planning on putting in...

Generator Installation
We are looking into putting a genset PDQ 34 MV 99 which did not have one installed at the factory. Is there any special reinforcing necessary to in stall one in the usual location in the port hull forward? I think that the factory installation involved a custom housing and sound proofing that may ha...
