Thanks Rafe. The prop guy had similar comments. Since the boat will be out of the water anyway, the prop guy has said we should bring the props in to check for damage. Then we will go from there.

I went back to have a look and refresh my memory. The strainer is upstream of the solenoid valve. So it protects the valve from any debris in the freshwater system. Usually there is not much, but sometimes a little scale and calcium builds up.

Jan, That is a pretty good solution. If I remove the convection microwave, and replace it with a propane oven, I have considered installing a very (very) small microwave oven on the counter top somewhere. Small enough to run on the inverter. It would probably have to live in a root cellar also. Tim
