Re: Fuel Transfer
I finally filled up the forward tank to the deck level and then was able to prime the pump but only after switching the pump back and forth a few times. Fuel transferred. I then refilled the tank and closed the transfer line valves. Hopefully this well keep on working. Thank you for the helpful comm...

Anchoring/Mooring Bridal
Any rule of thumb on how long to make an anchoring/mooring bridal for the PDQ 34?

Re: Fuel Transfer
Clearly the pump is running. There is fuel in the tank so I am assuming that it is a priming problem. Thank you Jim and Tom for the suggestions for dealing with this problem. They both make sense and hopefully will solve my situation. I will see.

Re: Fuel Transfer
Ron, not silly at all. I appreciate the ideas. I am pretty sure that they are open as I went though that according to the directions in the books I have before trying to transfer the first time. I tried your suggestion of reversing the pump, but no success. A call from another owner indicated that h...

Fuel Transfer
I just tried to transfer fuel from the front to the aft tank for the first time. The front tank is full according to the gage. With the pump running and the valve open to transfer fuel aft, there is no indication of fuel transfer to the aft tank. Is there something needed to prime the pump? If so ho...

Re: Aqua Drive
A follow up report re Aquadrives. I did have them installed. Subjectively there is a major difference in noise and vibration. Unfortunately, I did not make any objective measurements before and after. Others have done this on other boats. The cost was significant but there is no question that there ...

Forward Compartment Access
I would be interested to know what ways people have developed to get down into and back out of the forward compartments in each hull and to get things in and out easily. The distance from the deck to the bottom makes it rather difficult and there are no natural steps or structures to help. Tom Green

Aquadrive
Thanks Armin. I appreciate the feed back. The boat here already has four bladed props which I think need "tuning" and they will do that before I take the boat. There were also many other minor easy things to fix that I found reduced vibration/noise considerably. They had to do with doors, ...

Aqua Drive
Does anyone have experience putting Aqua drive on a PDQ 34 and being able to verify the difference in noise and vibration? I would be interested in any experience or thoughts. I just purchased #99 from Signature Yachts in Seattle after losing out on #115 through PDQ's failure. The factory did not pu...

Yachtpath
We are new owners to be of PDQ 34 115. We will be taking possession of the boat next May and plan on eventually shipping it to Victoria BC on Yachtpath from Port Everglades, Florida. We will then bring it down to the Seattle area where we live. I have had some surprises in negotiating a fee with Yac...
