My thoughts too. I wonder if there might be a problem trapping lines there. I haven't sailed the boat enough to know if, say, leaving the hatches open causes a problem.

Manufacturers have not released any info on 2006-legal 2 strokes, meaning that a 2 stroke you buy today may either be a dinosaur or a collector's item in two years. If you care about the environmental factors your choice is obvious. If you don't think there's a bit of a dif, you should just sit down...

I vaguely recall someone telling me about a fiberglass step molded to fit the cabinside slope next to the aft facing windows in the head and aft stateroom that would make it a little easier to step forward from the cockpit. I also vaguely recall breakfast. Aging is not for sissies, or card counters.

Did anyone see the under mattress pad (I think it was rubberized coir) at the boatshows? I've lost his brochure.

SSB ground plane and windlass
If its not too late, ask the factory to lay up a ground plane in the hulls. Its relatively easy to do so before assembly, is more secure, less intrusive, and a definate plus even if you don't buy the SSB radio right away.
