The method I use is to tape a 1/2 gallon ZipLock bag under the drain plug. I use strips of Duct tape to fasten it. . THERE ARE HAZARDS TO USING THIS METHOD! Use a paper towel to clean the area under the plug. You must insure a good seal between the lower end and the bag. You need to assist shaping t...

Which bottom paint works for you?
Just out of curiosity, which bottom paints have worked on other PDQ’s? I had the APC 50 ablative paint out of the factory, and it lasted about 10 months (delivery trip, five months in Chesapeake, down the ICW and over to the Bahamas). I now have Interlux Micron Extra applied. I only had 18 months in...

Thanks for your input.
Finally opted for a 15 hp Honda. Found one at Boats.Net, only place asking less than list.

2 Stroke vs 4 Stroke for dingy
Any opinion on which is better for a dingy? I'm leaning towards a 15 HP Yamaha 4 stroke, 99 pounds but only needs half the fuel. The dingy is a 10' 2" Avon RIB. Comments?
Also, where would you buy in Florida?

Watermakers
Hi Steve
Welcome to the PDQ group.
I have a 36', and can't say enough good about the Spectra water maker. Its low energy consumption is a plus for me, but that is probably not a concern for you.
