storage under bunks

We have the LRC (diesel engines) and would like to know if anyone has had any experience using the space aft of the engine for storage.
Any ideas? We are going down the ICW and need help with adding more storage to our boat.

Chesapeake POA

We would be interested in a Chesapeake POA. We have a 32 and we live off the Potomac but not too far from the Bay itself.

Windlass

Has any one installed an electric windlass on their 32? I am interested in finding out if you did a vertical windlass vs. a horizontal.

I would like to install a vertical windlass and would like to know exactly where you installled it.

Rear Enclosure

I want to get a full cockpit enclosure. I currently have the windsheilds but we are planning on doing the ICW next October and I have been told to get the full enclosure.

Does anyone know where to find them or have one made?

Go to Boatersworld. They usually have them in stock. The clamps are made by Southco.

Bilge Pumps

I have installed electic bilge pumps in each engine compartment. I screwed each pump to two thin and flexible pieces of wood (I used paint stirrers) and then glued (5200) them in place. I placed each pump slightly aft of the shaft seal. I installed the pump switch ( one for each pump) on the same bu...

anti-crab pot measures

Has anyone with a 32 ever had a stainless steel bar welded in place between the rudder and the bottom of the keel? I sail on the Chesapeake and worry about the lines from crab pots fouling the props. I have snaged several crab pots on the keels and have been lucky so far that the line has not made i...
