Did Multihullnets do the installation or did you? If the latter, how tough a job is it to get it nice and tight?

Folding props?
Any PDQ 32 LRC owners out there with folding or feathering props? I'm wondering what your experience has been?

Re: Trampoline replaced
I checked out multihullsnets.com and they actually have the PDQ32 listed on their price sheet, very cool. It looks like the Square Hole Mesh is the closest to OEM and runs about $1000, not including lacing or hardware. May I ask what type of netting you got and are you happy with it? Did you do the ...

Re: Remove hot water heater
I think I would try an angle grinder with a cut-off blade to cut the tank apart rather than a torch.

Re: Source for cockpit locker hinge
Thanks James.
The closest I found was from a UK site called Sheridan Marine. They look close but the holes probably won't line up so I will need to do some drilling.

Source for cockpit locker hinge
Does anyone know a source for these hinges? This is off the cockpit locker that enclose the outboards in the 32 classic, or in my case, the batteries in my LRC.

source for bow pulpits?
For some reason, my PDQ32 LRC did not have bow pulpits when I bought her. I think they are an important safety feature and I would like to add them. Does anyone know of a source where I might be able to get some specifically made for the PDQ 32?

I don't have them on my 32. Perhaps they are for attaching guy lines for a bowsprit?

I'm curious why you don't use it while at anchor? Is it just too much of pain to put up and take down?

Re: Rear cockpit enclosure for PDQ 32?
Drew I hear you about compromising sailing ability. Unless it was really nasty, I probably would not be using it while underway, and I would try to avoid sailing on those days anyway. What I found on my first year on Terrapin, was that at anchor on a rainy day, often it was windy enough to blow rain...

Re: Rear cockpit enclosure for PDQ 32?
Thanks, that helps a lot. I like the way it is angled back to the edge of the raised deck area. This means you can open the top hatch as well as the cockpit hatch in the stateroom when it is raining, big advantage IMO. I am hoping to design my install to allow me to roll up sections when sailing to ...

Re: 36 LRC battery wiring?
On the 32 LRC both sets of batteries are in the cockpit lockers where the outboards would be in the Classic. My starting batteries are on the port side and the house bank is on the starboard side, so it is easy to run the jumper cables across the cockpit. Terrapin is on the hard all summer long due ...

Rear cockpit enclosure for PDQ 32?
I'm planning on having a local canvas shop custom make a rear cockpit enclosure but I would love to see how others are designed. Does anyone have pictures of their enclosures?
