Changing running lights and courtesy lights to LED on PDQ 32

I have PDQ 32 hull #7. Time to change out the stern running light (pictured below) and also maybe the courtesy lights. I'd like to convert them to LED *without* any cutting! Picture of stern light is here, I think it is this one but not 100% sure: http://a.co/euVIXu0 running-light.jpg As for the cou...

Re: battens

My battens slide into the car at the luff, then they are held in place (compressed) at the leech by a velcro strap (similar to what is described here: http://www.leesails.com/velcro.htm). As thinwater points out, it is important that the batten slide into the car at the luff. Otherwise, you will get...

Re: Shameless Book Plug

I have the first 3 books in the original post. They are very good reading for a PDQ owner. Drew does a very good job and not leaving out ANY detail.

I downloaded them into Kindle.

Drew, I really value your contributions here, and I appreciate your generosity in publishing your blog. I often search that blog and your entries here in search of wisdom. Thank you so much.

I'm glad you're sticking around.

Re: One tank, two engines, water separators and tee and check valves. Recommended setup?

Thanks Drew. I'm going to redo the fuel line system tomorrow, with separate filters for each engine. While I'm at it, do you think it is a good idea to change to 3/8 fuel line instead of 1/4? The Yamaha fuel bulbs and line that came with the new engines were all 3/8. EDIT: my research shows that the...

Re: One tank, two engines, water separators and tee and check valves. Recommended setup?

Thanks guys, I really appreciate you taking the time to reply. The separator I refer to is actually a filter/separator. The filter element is the Raycor 3214. 51CatPXtp+L.jpg [/img] I do get a smidgen of water when I drain the bottom of the filter into a clear glass cup. thinwater, I did purchase th...

One tank, two engines, water separators and tee and check valves. Recommended setup?

So Phenix is a typical 32 Classic, it has a single fuel tank and a single pickup, one Racor water separator, a tee connector and then bulbs at each engine. Various problems have got me thinking maybe I'm not doing something optimally. Here is my setup: Fuel tank with single pickup in tank -> racor w...

I know that this post was from a few years ago, but I'm wondering if any other PDQ32 are now rated with multihull PHRFs.
