Re: Simrad WP32 Wheelpilot autopilot system

Cat Tales has Simrad instruments and a WP30 autopilot from 2000. It has been a very dependable unit, steering us through every sea conditon (up to 12'-15' following seas and 35 knot winds) . The belt has an adjustable tensioner and needed to be replaced in 2006 (by certified tech), but other than th...

Farmers Markets - Palm Beach County

A good place to stop for some inexpensive fresh produce along the ICW is either Delray Beach or Boca Raton in southern Palm Beach County, Florida. Delray has a free city dock, just north of the Atlantic Ave. bridge, which allows a maximum 4 hour tie-up (although I've never seen anyone police it). Th...

Re: Full cockpit enclosure w/sunshade for factory hardtop, FREE

Bacchagato, the enclosure looks nice. We'll gladly take them off your hands. Send me a private message about cost, details, etc.

Thank you.

(Bob, if for some reason they don't end up working out for us, we'll gladly send the enclosure to you)

Re: Hatch Hinges

Do you know which Lewmar port we have in the galley and nav areas? Looking at their hatches on the website, it seems like the Medium profile, size 50, seems right.

Re: Faucet mfg question

Interesting...I've been frustrated because our faucet neck doesn't extend out far enough for comfortable use, i.e. washing hands means you are rubbing against the side of the bowl. Scandvik doesn't have a suitable (longer) neck replacement, meaning we'd have to replace the entire unit. Roger, which ...

Re: Curtains

Double Dutch, can you submit any pictures of your curtains? Ron, what if Tanah Keetah's saloon windows had the same awning track top & bottom, instead of snaps or velcro? Sliding them off the track and stowing them would give a view. That's great news of Tanah Keeta's voyage with her new owners....

Re: Curtains

Sam, I was able to see the curtains from your webpage. The snap track idea would work for our larger ports port & stbd because we have the wooden screen casing on the inside, but the saloon windows and hatches will probably have to be some kind of velcro. Because the later models have an irregul...

Re: Curtains

Has anyone come up with curtains for the saloon windows? We have the phifertex on the exterior, but wish to add privacy curtains for the interior.

Re: Convection oven and microwave combination

Have you found a suitable convection oven to fit? You might consider installing a Force 10 oven in place of your stove. We all have the same dimensions on the outboard side of the galley and the same cabinet/fiberglass mold arrangement, and a Force 10 will fit by removing the cabinet below the stove...
