Re: Revised manual, PDQ 32

I can add it to the www.pdq36.com site if interested. Yes, I know, PDQ36 but I got the domain name a long time ago and pdq.com was not available :-)

Ah, yes, thanks. I thought he had some way to help deal with the chafing.

Thanks,

Re: Air Conditioning Intake

Here is an overview of what I did on Lady of the Lake... 16K BTU unit installed under the starboard settee just behind the nav station. Mounted the unit on rubber pads to minimize vibration transfer to the boat structure. Routed cooled air from the unit to three locations, one above the unit in the ...

1998 PDQ 36 LRC for sale

Administrator posting for lynnwood... 1998 PDQ 36 LRC for sale I have been the fortunate owner of Slow Dance, my PDQ 36 LRC, for over three years. I cruised in the Exumas the past two winters and met a great group of PDQ owners. I know our friendship will continue despite the fact I am putting Slow ...

Re: Cracks in glass

Yes, I have the same lines on hull #15, they have been there since I bought her and have not changed in over 10 years of ownership. If you are concerned, I would have James Powers look at them, he is on the forum. If you don't know him yet, you should :-)

Send him a PM.

Re: Cracks in glass

Can you send some pics? Are the cracks straight across from hull to hull like along a bulkhead or support member or oddly shaped?

Re: A/c

The 12K seems a bit light, my 16K fights to keep up in Florida, I guess it is where you will sail. But better to have a 12K that works than a 16K that is marginal, maybe, your call. Talk to the AC guy and see what he thinks. There were no vents in the boat, I had to cut my own access holes and run a...

Re: A/c

I installed an Ocean Breeze unit 10 years ago and have been very happy with it. http://www.oceanbreezeac.com/sc6k-18k.php I installed the 16K BTU unit and it will run on a Honda EU2000 IF you keep the coils clean. The issue is at start up. The inrush current is very close to the max the EU2000 can h...
