Our battery compartment is located at the entrance to the sliding door, probably the same as yours. I suspect that our 5 AGM's were a special order by the original owner.

Mac, Just in case you don't know, each battery sits in it's own recessed compartment. I didn't know this until I replaced my batteries last year. My boat came with 5 AGM Lifeline batteries and I replaced them last year with the same GLP-24T. Battery dimensions are: L 11.13", W 6.6", H 9.25...

I'm glad I was able to help. The Ultra Genius is a great replacement. The biggest challenge we faced was breaking the seal of the adhesive that the factory applied to the base of the windlass. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a PM.

Did you ever get an answer to your question about replacing the SS pipes with another material? I have some pitting on one section of pipe and was wondering the same thing. There is a 2002 PDQ Powercat on YachtWorld that has rubber hoses in place of the SS pipe.

I'm not on our boat so I don't have the spec. The manufacturer is Forespar and the material is Marelon. They have a customer service department that can give advice. Hope this helps.
