Re: Fridge on a 32

unit has been installed for several weeks now and is working great. the past couple of weeks I've been working on the shorepower system (one weekend at a time) so the only power on board are the batteries and the solar panels; the fridge has been staying cold! nice to finally be energy independant.

Magnetic door latches

Sam,

I like the idea of your magnetic door latches but can't seem to find them. Where did you find yours?

Re: Need Trampoline for 1994 PDQ 36

At the bargain center my options were limited to cut lengths only. The one I picked up was 70'. I'm thinking (hoping) that will be enough.

Re: Need Trampoline for 1994 PDQ 36

I'm also working on new trampolines for our 32. I bought the material from Sailrite and am crossing my fingers that it turns out okay. I hope to get a bunch of the work done this weekend depending on the Admiral's "Honey Do" list. For the lacing rope I bought 5/16" sta-set. found it a...

Re: Navigation Software

Unfortunately I'm still using the company's laptop. I wonder, how much would a used Mac laptop run?
Sam, one of these days I'll have to take a look at your setup.

Navigation Software

What is the best (cheap) way to view the Navionics chips on a laptop? I have the Maptech companion cd but it leaves a lot to be desired as it still treats each chart as a seperate page. I have two navionics chips one SD and one CF and I leave one in the RayMarine plotter but would like to use the ot...

Re: Non-PDQ boat for sale

Let's see, my oldest is into Goth so if you want the hull painted black he might. TV programming they are all better at than most adults but the rest of it sounds too much like work. Did I mention they all come with an extra set of attitude and bad report cards?

Re: Non-PDQ boat for sale

Don't curse me that way!!! 5 teenagers and 1 princess is more than enough. In fact I might be willing to sell the kids too.

Non-PDQ boat for sale

Now that we have our PDQ we are selling our old boat. If anyone knows somebody looking for a trailerable shallow draft let them know. It's a 1998 MacGregor 26X. Has lots of new extras including new trailer, assym spinnaker, genoa, chartplotter, pressure water w/ rear shower, etc... This is the motor...

Re: A/C on a 32

I never did update on my AC install. I purchased the 20K BTU unit and love it! Mounted under starboard aft bunk with 2 inch duct running through the bilge to the head and behind cabinets to the starboard midship bulkhead pointing at the table. Also have 4 inch duct running aft and splitting into a v...

Re: Fridge on a 32

Finally made a decision. (what do you mean I'm indecisive?) Picked up a Waeco CR110 from Peterson Marine. He gave me a nice discount, not sure if it's due to the family name or the fact that he made a lot of money of my company's stock. (before I met him, no insider trading) This unit is AC/DC only....

Re: Fridge on a 32

Roger, What brand and modelof fridge do you have? I assume that hull #'s 9 and 12 are similar in setup. Do you leave the propane solenoid on continuously or is the fridge on a seperate feed? If the front panel of the fridge seals to the cubby and I seal all other entries then the only place it would...

Re: Fridge on a 32

lurked there awhile but didn't see anything. Also been thinking that with all the solar panels I have I should use the already paid for resources more than the LPG. Chris put a scare into me about the propane similar to the condensate in the bilge disussion before. It's all still open especially unt...
