Re: Honda 15
Unrelated use but I have a Torquedo on my dinghy. I like it for that application. It is clean, quiet and no other liquid fuel needed. It is also very light and easy to lift from the water and to remove from the dinghy and store. I have not used it a great deal but the power is consumed fairly quickl...

I have mine in a storage room but doubt that I will ever use them. Good question.

Re: Replacement LED lights for the Salon
I think it is a good idea to change them as you have done. On a couple of mine, the halogen bulbs were so hot that they burned the translucent plastic cover which deformed and fell out. It seems that they could be a fire hazard. I have also changed the halogen bulbs in the goose neck lamps for the s...

For our power cat we made patterns and had bottomsiders make cushions for our bridge seats. We like them very much. There are some suggested ways of securing them on their web site. I don't know if this would be of interest.

Re: curtains for front windows
We went to Lowes and bought retractable shades cut to length. I placed a thin plywood backing on the top of the shade case and fixed snaps to it. They correspond to the snaps that were installed at the factory for some thin fabric shades that are very cumbersome to put back once you put them down. S...

Re: Clogged Sink Drain
It was a tooth paste cap. That seems to be a common theme. One other person told me they had the same thing.
Now I am looking for or will make a small strainer to keep this from happening again.

Re: Clogged Sink Drain
Thank you. I suspect that you are correct about it being lodged at the through hull. I have tried to blow it out - no luck.

Clogged Sink Drain
The drain in the sink in the head is clogged and barely runs. I suspect something got went down the drain and is jammed somewhere. The connections of the drain to the sink I gather are behind the recess and what appears to be an access port where the toilet paper holder is. Before, I start taking it...

I have had the same problem. You need to fill the forward tank completely to the top to re prime the pump. This has solved it every time for me.

Ross
We have the 100s. I have actually never seen 20 knots.
Hope to get down your way sometime soon. I have a nephew who lives on a sailboat in Saulsilito and is a charter captain on SF bay. Would love to see your boat.

Re: MV 34 - 4 blade props
For the first time since installing the 4 bladed props we took the boat out for an extended trip and into some weather in the Straights of Georgia off the west coast of British Columbia. In addition to the reduced noise previously mentioned there was clearly less almost no cavitation in the rough wa...

Re: MV 34 - 4 blade props
Just installed our new four bladed props and took them for a test drive today. We are most pleased with the change in the boat related to the reduced noise. It made a significant difference. We had Aqua Drives installed when we got the boat and noticed a significant reduction in noise with them. I w...

Re: Need Your Help Please
I have a PDQ 34 power cat. I looked extensively into the cost of shipping it across the country on a truck. The beam is the main difficulty. If you are over a certain width, you have to have pilots in front and back in most states and that gets very costly. I suspect that you would be better off shi...

Re: MV 34 - 4 blade props
I had the aqua drives put on my boat MV 34 99. It has 100 hp engines. The aqua drives made a very big difference. I have been contemplating the four blade props but hesitant not knowing how much more difference it would make. I may try it be able to give some idea of the added benefit. Based on the ...
