Electric, in this case, means that the choke is thermoelectric automatic, correct? If this is the case, why do you need a switch? My last engines were electric choke, and the choke was trouble free. I intentionally left a substantial gap in the center because I liked walking down the center of the hard top and then dropping down on the after deck. Saves a lot of walking around. There isn't much sun under the boom anyway.

You might try a Clean Way Fuel Funnel. I've used one and it worked pretty well. Yup, that's my PDQ at the fuel dock. They come with a set of addapters, up to some big sizes. Have you tried PB Blaster, long soak, followed by lots of heat? I believe they may be threaded into embedded aluminum plates, in which case you prospects are tough.
