Latis, Could you please provide an update on the installation of your new engines? Thanks, Ed My refit project was finally complete as of 2 weeks ago. Got her back in the water to test it out and wrap up the season. To be honest this was not a cheap solution  - but have to say very happy wit...

Outboard Engines
After agonizing on a solution and faced with all the challenges you guys have talked about, I'm going nuts and getting the nacel enlarged on our 32 to accomodate new 9.9 Hondas (with autotilt). I'll let you know how it goes as it is still work in progress (long story why I started this project in th...

I just installed the easy-furl mainsail cover from these guys and it worked out very nicely. Makes life a lot easier - especially when singlehanded - hoists and settles in very nicely when lowering and doesn't get in the way when sailing ... Not to mention it looks very neat! If anyone wants pix - j...

On my boat - it's in the Selden Mast documentation - if not - go to the Selden Mast website and they have their parts listed their (including bulbs). Just went through this to replace the deck floodlight on my mast - not too much fun hanging up there for sure - and that was only halfway to where you...

Sail Trim Cheat-Sheet
Anyone out there have some "best practices" in terms of sail trim diagram for the 32 for the main points of sail. How to best use the traveler; boom angle, close hauled positions; beam reach seems a bit different from monohulls - since I can't really extend the main too far out due to the ...

Tilt lock
I have the same problem.. I have a little aluminum tab on the front that you are supposed to lift up to lock the engine in place - but the whole mechanism is frozen up and the locking tabs bend now when you try to pull them down or up(on both outboards) I assume these fragile tabs took some abuse in...

Anyone tried 20" shafts?
Just got into the PDQ family .. 1997 32 footer - so far delighted - however on my list of things to do unfortunately is replace are the outboards. I may be speaking heresy - but has anyone tried using a 20" shaft? Or is that just not even an option with prop not submersed enough.. 25" very...
