Greetings All - We are about to become the new owners of the PDQ 34 "Sea Paws." We are looking forward to a most pleasant transaction with her current owners and expect to have the title transferred by the end of the month. Our plan is to outfit the boat for a trip to Florida this winter and, at some point in the future, a trip to the islands.

We look forward to exchanging ideas and information with our fellow PDQer's.

Greetings:

Thanks for your generous welcome to the PDQ world.

I am happy to report that we have had "settlement" on our new to us boat - PDQ 34002 "Sea Paws." We had a terrific day being mentored by "Sea Paws" most recent stewards who were gracious in sharing not only tips on sailing the boat and other details, but stories of their past adventures aboard.

We began our sail on the Chesapeake Bay in light, shifty conditions, and ended the day as white caps began to make their appearance. The day was as delightful as the company.

We wish the owners the best of adventures with their new boat and look forward to sailing with them again.

As for "Sea Paws," we plan rechristen her as "Sunshine." To borrow a line from an old John Denver song, "Sunshine on the water looks so lovely."

We're on track to prep the boat for a trip down the ICW to the Keys and perhaps the islands. We hope to meet as many of you as possible along the way and are eager to learn about PDQ's and to join in the exchange of information and experiences on this forum.

Thanks Again!
