I know this is trivia, but in a year and a half we haven't found a place. Mostly we leave it on the tramp, and it has never come off, in spite having taken a lot of water over the front.
* Railings. The side walkways are too narrow to start with.
* Nowhere aft. We use it forward but seldom from the stern.
* Cabin top. Perhaps a couple clips just inboard of the handrails?
* Rear edge of tramp. Sometimes I tied it to the back edge. It worked.
Ideas?

Re: Boat Hook Storage
Ours is stored in the Port side anchor locker. That is also where the emergency tiller, and various boat brushes live.
Re: Boat Hook Storage
With my Stiletto it lived on the tramp for 18 years, never even tied down, but the Stiletto didn't take as much water over the tramp. Sometimes we stuffed it through the lacing, if it was getting wild. So, I have an on-deck habit.mikeandrebecca wrote:Ours is stored in the Port side anchor locker. Re: Boat Hook Storage
We keep two handy. One clipped in on the mounting pole for the windgen and the other is clipped in inside the lifeline with the clips on the stantions. The clips are a fairly recent thing but so far no problems.

Mine fits nicely along the handrails of hard-top Bimini, always handy..
