New PDQ 32 Classic Owner

Post by fredandkathy »

We are new owners(the 3rd) of a PDQ 32 Classic LRC, hull #16, that we bought last summer. We are from Port Salerno, Florida and "Evening Star" is berthed in the Manatee Pocket on a lift. We have followed the forum for months and very much enjoy, and learn from, the various posts and look forward to meeting other cruisers along the way. Fred, Kathy Caitlin & Emily Dulas

Hi guys

Congratulations on your new boat! We are also pretty new owners of a PDQ 32 and we love it, as I'm sure you will too.

Welcome!

There certainly is a lot to learn from the group. This forum saved my bacon a few ties when I first got my boat, or at least minimized the confusion. Read all of the owner blogs - there is a lot of information there.

We are the new owners ( I believe the third owners also) of Hull #17. We kept the name 'DreamCatcher' from the previous owners and have already run into some prior friends of the owners. We love the boat and have just completed our first adventure. You can read about it and see some video at the following:

As of last Thursday, I too am a proud new owner...hull number 21, a '96 32 Classic, "Third Wish" .... which happens to be the boat depicted in the PDQ 32 picture on multihullmaven.com .... at this moment, its on its way now to Southern California over land from South Texas.

I appreciate this site immensely, the efforts of Sam, and all those who contribute regularly .... and look forward with anticipation to the memories that will be made as this chapter of life unfolds with this boat.

I'm going to try and shoot some video of her coming down the highway at 55 miles per hour .... I don't have anyone available to go with me, so I will have to be driver and cameraman....wish me luck! ... in any event, I'll definitely have some still shots.
