Bimini removal

Post by swanneville »

Hi Guys.
I have been an admirer of the PDQ 32 for some years and am now looking at buying one and shipping it down to New Zealand. The shipping costs are, of course, horrendous and as these are based on gross volume I am wondering if it would be (reasonably) easy to remove the hardtop bimini and drop it into the cockpit for shipping. Looking at 'photos, it appears that the S/S supports are bolted on. This would not be a problem, but wondered if it is permanently bonded onto the structure anywhere. Can someone please tell me the feasibility of this.
Many thanks,
Neville (Swan)

Yes, it is all bolt-together and would be simple. There can be some wiring in the posts, but it is very limited.
