fenders / fender boards and storage

Post by amytom »

We've been using 4 8" diameter fenders with two homemade fender boards (2x4 with the rubber caps) to side tie the DogHouse. They are lined up with the dock pilings and this has worked okay while at the dock. It's a pain to get underway though as they have to be stored in the port bow.

What does everyone else use and how do you store them?

We just use two big ball fenders.

I LOVE the way you have those large balls right at the base of the mast. LOL

We store all of our fenders and boards in the port bow as you do. Fortunately we are seldom at a dock so it's not a huge deal for us.

I was thinking of a reference to an old AC/DC song but...
