Does anyone know what the approximate cost to unstep and later step the mast on a 32 PDQ?
Also, is there a recommended shipyard in Jacksonville, Florida to do the unstepping and re-stepping?
Thanks!
Rob

It will vary depending on how much you are involved.
If the wiring is prepared with plug connections or at least disconnected that saves a lot of time.
Having the sails, boom, and lazy jacks removed is obviously important. Similarily the lines running down to the base of the mast can be derigged and strapped out of the way so the boom is free except for the side and forward stays.
If you have everything ready and the marina has a suitable crane the mast will be down very quickly.
