PDQ 32 hatch type

Post by Iriemon »

I had a guest over tighten a riser arm on one of the bridge deck cabin hatches (above the salon table) and busted it. I believe it is a Bomar hatch, but does anyone know the exact type of hatch it is so I can get a replacement riser arm?

I looks like item A in the photo here: https://www.pompanette.com/BigSummit/po ... 65DAE?Open

I guess the old fashioned knob types were too reliable so they had to replacement them with weak-assed the twist locks.

On TomKat there is a label on the inside of the hatch That reads BOMAR with a number beneath. I believe it is the model number (e.g. 95005654 in our case).

I hope that this helps.

Thanks so much Dan.

I'll check that number with Bomar and post the results. I've ordered a riser arm but I'm not sure it's the right one. I'll post my findings for future reference.
