It's about that time for some of us. I was always stunned that the boat that was built in Canada can without provisions for winterizing. I had to chase leaks for the first year because the PO took pipes apart to winterize the boat, wearing out the fittings. Yes, they are quick-disconnect, but that doens't mean they are meant for annual-disconnect. It wears them out.
I posted this. Later, I added similar valves for may AC.

Of course, winterizing my F-24 is as simple as taking the water tank home. On the other hand, the lack of propane heat and a nice dodger is a drag.

Or just move to Florida???
Re: Winterizing
^^ From my point of view, that's where they send you when you die, if you've been very, very bad.
In fact, one of my best sailing days was just a week ago. 70F, nice breeze, no sweating required. Summer sail I mostly dislike. Once it passes about 85F, too damn hot.
Enjoy your repentance.

Re: Winterizing
I was working in Amarillo last week and overheard some people talking about going skiing. My first thought was, “I wonder what kind of boat they’re using.”
Different climates for different people.
I don’t mind sweating.

You have a sick mind. Just a few days ago I was watching a guy in a shop tuning some snow skis. I found myself drooling slightly, as though a Thanksgiving turkey was coming out of the oven.
Of course, my avitar should give a clue.
