Altair input
I debated the outboards vs diesels and ended up buying the outboard model. I am happy that I made this choice as the 32 is not a large boat and is quite weight sensitive if you want performance. Once you get to know the outboards they are easy to live with.
In terms of performance I spend most of my sailing time in the 6 to 9 knot range. With a good breeze you will see 10 to 12 knots - more is possible but probably not recommended.
Under power the boat motors comfortably around 6 knots. You can motor up to 8 knots but it will be a noisy trip.
Bridge clearace with the tall mast models I belive is around 49 feet.
