Bi-folding Cabin Doors

Wind Seeker’s head door opened into the cabin and we hound that inconvenient at times especially when accessing the cabinet it obstructed. Reversing the door to open into the head made that space crowed. So I split the difference and made the cabin door a bi-folding one. Having had success at that I did the aft cabin door too. I simply ripped the door vertically in half on my table saw. The kerf of the blade was exactly the width of the piano hinge when closed and the door went right back in to the frame and fit perfectly.
